Reading:

The first human in America.

1. Along the coast. 2. Use the interior land.

Listening:

另一篇lecture 講Rome和Greek 用concrete to build.

A student need to find the requirements, in order to get in a art history class. It’s so difficult to get in.

Integrated Writing:

1. Rootworms can be killed by pesticides.

2. Early planting can avoid rootworms.

3. Alternating of growing can avoid rootworms.

1. Some of the rootworms have already developed a resistance.

2. Frost, snowstorm can cause the early planting corn to die.

3. Some rootworms can lay their eggs for 2 years, and can hatch their eggs when core is being planted.

Independent writing:

Agree or disagree, It’s more important for government to spend money on modern houses than on building traditional or historical building or homes.

A,mammal很少coast sea by themselves它们很多时by accident,而且要在一个地方

know a person from type of friends that he has, agree or disagree

Speaking:

1. If your friend has difficulties in mathematical exam, what would you like to suggest?

2. What do you prefer? To lend money from friends for a big thing, or to use your own money?

3. A letter for a university, written by a girl. Seats are planning to be built outside (on the lawn).

1. Another dining room is closed. It will be better if that dining room is open, and students can use both.

2. Some people will play soccers on the lawn, and it will hit some people.

4. Reading: In the world of animals, 一些動物confronting and fighting against predators.

Lecture: A kind of dove always likes to build the nest on the ground. It’s easy to hart. When the fox comes, one dove always pretends to be hurt, and cannot fly(luring). So the small dove will survive.

5. A boy needs to read a novel in order to write a paper. However, the library on campus is closed.

Solutions: 1. To go to another library. But it’s too far away. It will cost a lot of time, and the student will miss some interesting courses.2. To read another book. However, the student doesn’t like the book.

Drops off. 1. To plan too specifically, so eventually cannot achieve. She had plan before the semester, how much time to read, how much time to exercise… However, she could not achieve it. 2. People always expect that the plan will be progress smoothly without interruption. A collogue asked her to research a paper, but the professor didn’t know the topic well. She expected that she should have done it within a few hours, however, she had to ask for an extension.

Homesick

2,大学选择 specific focusing好,还是wide varieties of course
